Zoe Jaquelin: June 2007

I thought I would dedicate this post to Zoe's love for company. Whether we have guests in the house or we are standing in line at the post office with Zoe in her stroller and people are talking to her (and they ALWAYS do) she is usually on her best behavior. She enjoys interacting with people (and Meeshka!), smiling and talking to them, offering them a gift of some sort (outside of the house it's usually mama's car keys:) or sometimes sticking her tongue out at them with a sly impish look.

Here are some pics from a couple of gatherings Zoe attended in the past couple of months, as well as a few much overdue pics from her last 3! "baby birthdays" (9th, 10th and 11th months). It's so hard to believe that in less than a month, we will stop counting months and start counting years!

This was a Saturday afternoon party at our house on March 24th- this was a baby for Lyubka and Roman's baby girl (Emma Charlotte was born 2 weeks ago! )

Incidentally, we mistakenly thought during the entire day that it was the 25th of the month and hence, Zoe's 9th month birthday, so we took a lot of pictures of her. (We figured out next day that THAT day was the real birthday :) All the better- this was a great occasion to capture on camera.

And surprisingly to all of us, Zoe didn't get scared at all when one of the balloons popped in her hands- she was just a little startled and cautiously crawled away from the site of the loud boom:
