Autumn 2008

Zoe had a wonderful Autumn, with lots of events and pictures to share, so here we go!

September started with a wonderful Fall Celebration party organized by one of her day-care friends' family at the Lighthouse Point Beach park in New Haven. Zoe got to hang out with her day care buddies and ride her favorite carousel!

Guess- which one is Zoe???

Next, Zoe got to go to a small party with her mom's classmates and got to try her first Chocolate Fountain!!!! She loved dipping strawberries on the sticks into a running chocolate waterfall!

...and making a BIG mess making sure no chocolate went wasted :)

Next, Zoe got to visit Boston where she went on a Duck Tour! The "Ducks" are these hybrid buses that ride around town and also go in the water- hence, they are called the Ducks!
Here're some pictures of Zoe on the "Duck" with her friend Neha

Zoe loved the scenery (Boston is beautiful!)
Almost forgot- here's the picture of our"Duck" (reflection in the building):
And here we are riding through the water:

and hanging out in my classmate Sayid's backyard (he hosted us in Boston):
Suddenly, the Indian Summer was over- and all the little noses at our local park turned pink:
(Zoe and her friends Carolina and Alexandra- aka "The Baby")
Also, Zoe got to host her entire day care at her house for 2 days in a row- here she is with her little classmates in our living room:

And then came the best day of the season- HALLOWEEN!!!!!
Zoe was a Lady Bug this year and she started out the day by going to the Yale School of Management Halloween parade.
Here she is with all of her mommy's classmates (those who have kids that is):

and with her Daddy, before going trick-or-treating around the Yale SOM:

and here she is collecting all the CANDY that was long over due to her:

and after the parade, there was an exciting craft workshop where Zoe got to decorate her own little "bumpkin"
you don't want to know how much candy was in this bag (we are still dealing with it:)
and then, there was yet another party at her daycare:

After the Abiyoyo (day care) party Zoe enjoyed some time outdoors, on a surprisingly warm (for New England) and beautiful day
and then our Lady Bug went home to get ready for the grand finale of the day- the trick-o-treating! It was particularly special not only because it was her FIRST time trick-o-treating ever, but also because her uncle Brad came to visit from South Carolina and went trick-o-treating with her, her parents and Meeshka!
Here she is walking with her Daddy through a scary halloween night
Her favorite part about trick-o-treating (aside from getting all the candy)?
Ringing all the doorbells, of course!!!!!

...and touching all the scary jack-o-lanterns:
When the trick-o-treating was over, Zoe pretended to be a ballerina in her Lady Bug outfit, and danced to the music at home, until all the candy wore off:
