Summer update

We are way behind on Zoe's blog and our only excuse is all the things that have been going on in our lives this summer... like buying a new house and moving and settling in our new home.

First and foremost long pic-report on Zoe's 3d Birthday.
The day of the birthday party was absolutely beautiful and all of Zoe's little guests enjoyed the birthday festivities outside in "our" backyard (this was still at our old apartment)

Zoe enjoyed seeing a BIG 3 on her cake!


and then came some ice cream:
and some watermelon...
and a " 3-piggies in the house and a mean wolf" game (everyone wanted to be the mean wolf and knock the house (tent) down);
and a ' pin the tail on the Donkey' game:

and then Zoe went inside and played with her favorite birthday present: a doctor kit!
and then- it was time to change into bathing suits and play some water games!

like- "hit the fence with a water baloon!"

Shortly after her birthday party- came Independence Day on 4th of July. We went to celebrate it at the small local airport, where one of Tripp's friends parks his little red airplane. Zoe really enjoyed seeing all the airplanes up-close and even sitting in one! She also really enjoyed the fireworks show after it got dark (last year she was scared of them so we were very happy):

And then, there was a little beach trip to her little friend Katie's beach cottage:

Zoe got to float in a (then VERY COLD) ocean in an inner-tube:

Fly a kite with her Papa:
Get buried in a sand:
And...her favorite thing to do EVER- climb the rocks!

And even being a referee in a CRAB RACE game! ( we had a crab catching competition first)
