Winter Holidays and... Disney World!

Zoe had a wonderful and eventful winter vacation, which started with the first big snow in December.
Here she is in our back yard covered with a foot of snow:
Zoe also enjoyed going ice skating for the first time (even though she was a little upset that she could not move fast without falling :) at the end she did not want to leave the ice rank:
And at home Zoe enjoyed trying on daddy's ice hockey gear:

And finally the Christmas season was around the corner-- Zoe loved looking at all the Christmas lights and decorations around our neighborhood every night and decorating her own Christmas tree at home.
She finally went to meet the REAL Santa few days before Christmas at her daddy's work.
Here's Zoe waiting in line to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what presents she would like for Christmas:
As much as Zoe had been anticipating meeting the Santa, she was a little shy when she got close to him- that big white beard must have looked ReALLy Scary up close!

But at least the candy Santa gave Zoe was really good!

And finally- Christmas morning arrived!
Zoe walked out on Christmas morning and first of all took care of the cookies and milk we had left for Santa that he didn't have time to eat:
Then she unwrapped all her presents, except for one, which did not require unwrapping!- A rope ladder and a colorful landing mat that daddy had installed for her during the night while she was asleep ( Zoe really didn't know what to think of the ladder and the mat when she first walked out: when she first saw it, she stopped, paused for a few seconds and puzzled asked " what is that ??? :)
Zoe quickly figured out that the ladder is not only for climbing but can also be used as a swing- "BIG swing" as she says:
We will have to come back a little later with a story about Zoe's Disney World vacation.
For now, Zoe leaves you with the ABC song that she loves to sing and "play" on her new piano:
