Spring has finally arrived in New Haven, and it's about time to refresh Zoe's blog too. But before we get to the warm sunny spring pics, here are a few from the long-long New England winter.

Here are some pics from our skiing trip to Killington Vermont. Zoe didn't get to ski this year, but she did go sledding and swimming in the indoor pool at the lodge.
*The drive back from Killington to New Haven was particularly interesting, as we took a local detour through rural Vermont and wound up stopping at a really cool and old Vermont toy factory. No pics from the toy place- sorry, but the cat that Zoe picked out at the factory store will be featured later (Zoe's current best friend):

During the winter, Zoe spent a lot of time developing her creative side, and working on different art projects.

Here Zoe is making a crown at her art group that her great-grandmother Lyusia takes her to every other week (it's for ages 2-6, but we pretend she is already 2):
And here's what Zoe made (with just a little bit of help from her great-grandma:)
At home, her favorite project is play-doh sculpting (and sometimes throwing):

Aside from her diligent work, Zoe does find some time for her broader circle of friends.
Here she is attending a Yale MBA parents retreat (with Zoe's mommy's classmates and their families) at a local Indian restaurant:

Here she is playing hard to get with her buddy Jacob:

And here's the three of us:

This was a particularly warm day in March when you could see a lot of moms going for a stroll with their kids and enjoying the sunny day:

Zoe borrowed a stroller from one of her neighbors, bud did not want to lend one of her kids in return. Well, at least you can't call her irresponsible!
Also in March, we celebrated Easter based on Catholic schedule- since everyone else did and we got a FREE turkey from our local grocery store. Some pics from that day:

And finally- a couple of pics from the first April weekend and the first coat-free day!
